Jenny Dyck Brian

Dr. Jenny Dyck Brian is an accomplished educator, mentor, and visionary leader in the realm of public honors education. As Chair of the Faculty at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, she leads 48 master teacher-scholars across four campuses and online. In this capacity, she is responsible for designing and leading new initiatives within and beyond Barrett, and ensuring honors curricular offerings are impactful and innovative.

Dr. Brian is a bioethicist and science and technology studies (STS) scholar whose work interrogates the intersection of science, business, ethics and policy. Her work has been funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, Meta Inc, and PEO Scholars, and has been published in journals such as American Journal of Bioethics, Science, Technology & Human Values, and Journal of Business Ethics. Her current book project, Body, Politic: Sex, Technology and the State, focuses on reproductive justice and carceral institutions. In her teaching and research, she is committed to advancing equity and justice, and creating a better future for all.
